Llangattock Community Council consists of nine elected members representing all of the people in the Community. Meetings are held every month and members are keen to safeguard the interests of the area and provide updated facilities. The Council has responsibility for a very beautifully situated recreation ground with children's play equipment, and additional fields for future recreational use. Also, there is a public cemetery and village car park to be looked after.
The Parish Church of St Catwg holds regular services on Sundays and at other times and is open to the public. It contains a number of interesting historical items and is well worth a visit. Bethesda Congregational Chapel also holds services every Sunday Morning.
Accommodation is available at a number of places in Llangattock and also in the neighbouring town of Crickhowell, and enquiries can be made at the Tourist Information Centre
